The Met: Live in HD 2013-14 season begins with Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin

On October 5, The Met: Live in HD kicks off its 2013-14 season with Deborah Warner’s new production of Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. The production sees the return of Valery Gergiev to the podium and marks Deborah Warner’s directing debut at the Met - a co-production with ENO that opened in London in 2011. Starring as Tatiana is Anna Netrebko, while Mariusz Kwiecień appears as Onegin.

The eighth season of The Met: Live in HD features 10 broadcasts, including four new productions. The programme now shows in more than 1,900 theatres in 64 countries, including 175 cinemas in the UK.
