Which recording do you think should be the 2014 Recording of the Year?

The Gramophone Recording of the Year, as chosen by our panel of expert critics from our 12 category winners, will be revealed on September 17. Before then, though, we wanted to give you, our readers, the chance to pick which of the category winners is your favourite to see if this matches the critics' verdict. Pick the category from the list below that you thinks deserves to be this year's winner. You can find more details on all of these discs on our 2014 Gramophone Awards page.

We are also pleased to announce that our partners at Qobuz are offering a 20% discount on 2 of this year's category winning discs. Baroque vocal: CPE Bach's Magnificat conducted by Hans-Christoph Rademann. Orchestral: Brahm's Sympohonies conducted by Riccardo Chailly

The votes have been cast, and the results are in:

First place in our readers' choice poll for Recording of the Year, with 23% of the vote, was the winner of the Solo Vocal category - Schubert's 'Winterreise', by Jonas Kaufmann and Helmut Deutsch (Sony Classical).

Second place, with 14% of the vote, went to our critics' choice, the Orchestral winner - Brahms' Symphonies from Riccardo Chailly and the Gewandhaus Orchestra (Decca), which won Recording of the Year at the 2014 Gramophone Awards ceremony.

And in third place, with 11% of the vote, was the Baroque Instrumental category winner - C.P.E. Bach's 'Württemberg' Sonatas, from Mahan Esfahani (Hyperion).

Thanks everyone for voting for our readers' choice. It is great to see how our readers' choice compares with our critics' choice, and without our readers, the Gramophone Awards would not have been such a success.
