Cathedral choirs from Bradford, Lichfield and St Paul’s unite under the dome for this free public even
One of the oldest choral music events in the world, the Clergy Support Trust Festival Service celebrates 370 years this year, and will bring together three exceptional cathedral choirs to perform as one – that’s over one-hundred sublime voices – under the Dome of St Paul’s Cathedral.
Tickets are free, and everyone is welcome on Tuesday 13 May 2025, 5pm, as Bradford – the UK City of Culture 2025 – and Lichfield Cathedral Choirs join that of St Paul’s. The Lord Bishop of Chelmsford, The Rt Revd Guli Francis-Dehqani will preach.
The Clergy Support Trust hosts the Festival as an afternoon of celebration and reflection, recognising the contribution that clergy and their families make to their communities.
In 2024, almost 2,800 Anglican clergy households relied on grants and services from the Trust to get by, many struggling to afford the basics of life and ministry, like appliances and energy bills. A collection will be taken during the Service to support our work in the year ahead.
