Lars Vogt on Brahms's First Piano Concerto

The pianist and conductor Lars Vogt has just released a new Ondine recording of D minor Concerto with the Royal Northern Sinfonia

Lars Vogt, Music Director of the Gateshead-based Royal Northern Sinfonia, has just released a new album for Ondine of Brahms's First Piano Concerto and the Op 10 Ballades. James Jolly went to talk to him about the concerto and his decision to direct the work from the keyboard.
