To bring the week to an energetic conclusion, today's Video of the Day is a sparkling performance of 'Luminous' from Miguel Del Aguila's Quinteto Sinfónico, Op. 122 for wind quintet. Performed here by WindSync at Abbey Road Studios in London, the work features on an album of the contemporary American composer's wind ensemble music which is out now.

The music of Miguel Del Aguila draws heavily on his own Latin American roots, this can be heard in the syncopated rhythms towards the end of the piece which bring out an almost tango-like quality.

WindSync is an American ensemble comprised of Garrett Hudson (flute), Emily Tsai (oboe), Graeme Steele Johnson (clarinet), Kara LaMoure (bassoon) and Anni Hochhalter (horn).

'WindSync Plays Miguel Del Aguila' is available now and can be heard below via Apple Music
