Today's video is a performance of a new arrangement of Taylor Scott Davis's Stardust by VOCES8 and the VOCES8 Foundation Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Barnaby Smith. 

Stardust is a setting of Clairel Estevez's poem of the same name, which begins: 'A love like ours / Sincere and pure / Deserves to be guided by Angels / Deep, into the unknown.' Davis perfectly captures the sense of wonder and eternity in the text.

This performance is an extract from a full concert of works including the world premiere of Davis’s violin concerto To Sing of Love: a Triptych (with soloist Jack Liebeck and Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb.
