The Malko Competition for Young Conductors always provides a fascinating insight into the craft and technique required to lead an orchestra from the podium. This year the competition is being streamed live on YouTube and on the Gramophone website, beginning on Monday, June 7 and continuing throughout the week until the final on Saturday.
