Dublin International Piano Competition winner announced

Nikolay Khozyainov has been named the ninth winner of the Dublin International Piano Competition. The 19-year-old Russian receives €15,000 and debut recitals in Wigmore Hall, London, Carnegie Hall, New York and the National Concert Hall, Dublin, plus career management and support.

Held as a triennial event, the competition this year welcomed 51 international competitors under the age of 30. The panel of 13 judges included Dame Fanny Waterman and was chaired by artistic director John O’Conor.
