Royal Opera House label Opus Arte and London opera recital series Rosenblatt Recitals have announced a new recording partnership. Opus Arte will release five to six Rosenblatt Recitals each year on CD and digital download, drawing from recordings made over the past 13 years, and beginning with three solo albums in April 2013 featuring Ailyn Pérez, Lawrence Brownlee, and Anthony Michaels-Moore. The initial batch will be a mixture of studio recordings made at Abbey Road and live Rosenblatt Recitals recorded at St John’s Smith Square and Wigmore Hall.

‘It has been a privilege and a joy to provide so many wonderful singers with a chance not only to give an intimate recital in one of London’s great venues, but also to record in the studio,’ said Rosenblatt Recitals founder Ian Rosenblatt. ‘All the recitalists over the years have given something unique in their Rosenblatt Recital and these recordings capture this essence. I’m delighted to be working with Opus Arte to enable so many more people around the world to discover and enjoy these singers and preserve their great talent for all time.’

Founded in 2000, Rosenblatt Recitals has presented over 130 concerts, featuring both established singers and rising stars. The series made a successful move to Wigmore Hall in September 2012 and has established a partnership with Sky Arts to broadcast four of the season’s recitals in 2013. Further Opus Arte releases, due out in autumn 2013, will feature Ailish Tynan and Ekaterina Siurina.
