The September 13 ceremony will be streamed live by medici.tv, Classic FM and Gramophone

This year we are pulling out all of the stops to make sure that you can watch the Gramophone Classical Music Awards ceremony live, wherever you are. And because we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Gramophone Awards this year, we have some very special live performances and surprise Awards lined up, so you won't want to miss it.

The ceremony takes place in London on Wednesday, September 13 at 6.30pm (BST). The entire event will be live-streamed by medici.tv, and you will be able to enjoy the complete broadcast on medici.tv, classicfm.com and, of course, in the Awards area of gramophone.co.uk. We are also delighted to announce that Classic FM will be hosting the live stream on their Facebook page.

Many of the winners of this year's recording categories (announced last week) will be there to receive their Awards and there will be live performances from Gramophone Award-winners past and present, including The Tallis Scholars and Peter Phillips, Benjamin Appl, Carolyn Sampson, Iestyn Davies and Joseph Middleton, and the Pan–Armenian Symphony Orchestra.
