Gramophone Mon 6th November 2017

Behind-the-scenes at the recording sessions for 'Nacht und Träume', with Equilbey and Insula Orchestra

In the November 2017 issue of Gramophone, Charlotte Gardner reports from Paris's futuristic new venue La Seine Musicale, where Laurence Equilbey and Insula Orchestra have taken up residence, and where they were in the midst of recording their new album for Warner Classics, entitled 'Nacht und Träume'. The all-Schubert album includes the Unfinished Symphony, excerpts from Rosamunde and orchestrated Lieder. Warner Classics have produced a video capturing moments from the recordings sessions, which you can enjoy below, and don't forget to pick up the November issue to enjoy our full report.
