We're pleased to present another video premiere today, this time featuring composer and pianist Gediminas Gelgotas playing his new work Sanctifaction with double bassist Roman Patkoló.

Sanctifaction is Gelgotas's new arrangement of the fourth movement from his own symphony for the double bass. The work vividly explores both the aggressive and lyrical capabilities of both instruments and is played with tremendous commitment.

And if you want to hear what is coming next from this Gelgotas, his new Violin Concerto will be premiered on July 7 by David Nebel with the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, conducted by Kristjan Järvi, at the Kissinger Sommer Festival, Regentenbau, Bad Kissingen, Germany.
