The vocal ensemble Apollo5's new album 'Invocations' includes a richly eclectic selection of music, from Byrd and Purcell to Elton John and Bill Withers. Apollo5's complete 'invocations' concert – including 'Ubi Caritas' – is included as part of VOCES8's Live from London Easter 2023 Festival, which is currently underway. The concert is 'an evocative weaving of singing and sharing, the performers present the stories of their lives. If any person were asked for their favourite music it would become evident that behind each piece is a story, a glimpse into part of their lives, a fragment of personality and a thread of tale.
