The echo vocal ensemble sing Bogoroditse Devo from the All-Night Vigil recorded at Birdsall House in Yorkshire

Echo Vocal Ensemble perform Sergei Rachmaninov's stunning Bogoroditse Devo from his All-Night Vigil at Birdsall House in Yorkshire.

Launched in 2017, the Echo choir was formed through the Sixteen's young artist scheme Genesis Sixteen, and now look to challenge traditional preconceptions associated with choral music through collaboration and innovation.

Echo will perform Bogorodiste Devo as part of their winter tour this December at Kings Place, London on 15th December and Birdsall House, Yorkshire on 19th December. Chasing the Night: Midwinter Songs will include traditional carols, as well as music by Poulenc, Britten vocal music from Canada and Iceland collaboration with the British-Ugandan duo Ganda Boys.
