The most recent edition of the Carl Nielsen International Competition - 2019 - produced three impressive winners who all went on to be named One to Watch artists in our pages. Two of them - flautist Joséphine Olech and clarinetist Blaz Sparovec - release their debut albums today on the Orchid Classics label, a part of their prize.

Both albums feature the Nielsen concertos (for which they're joined by the Odense Symphony Orchestra and Anna Skryleva) which had featured in their final rounds of the 2019 competition - and to mark the albums' releases, we're delighted to bring you films of those performances below.
