This weekend you will be able to watch the two final concerts and the prize-winners' concert of the 2nd International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments on YouTube. Performing in the first finalist's concert on Friday will be Angie Zhang from the USA, China's Yonghuan Zhong and Eric Guo from Canada:

Saturday's finalist's concert will feature Austria's Martin Nöbauer, Piotr Pawlak and Kamila Sacharzewska (both from Poland):

The prize-winners' concert will take place on Sunday evening:

All of the finalists will be performing Chopin's Piano Concerto in E minor, Op 11, but will have a choice of period-appropriate instrument on which to play, either a Pleyel from 1842 or an Erard from 1838, and will be accompanied by the {oh!} Orkiestra conducted by Václav Luks.
