Dr Dee's Daughter and the Philosopher's Stone

The recorder quartet Palisander and puppet theatre company Rust and Stardust have come together to present a new family-friendly show called Dr Dee's Daughter and the Philosopher's Stone which they are currently touring across the UK. The show is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 and tells the story of Katherine, the daughter of Dr Dee (astronomer and magician in the court of Queen Elizabeth I) through puppetry, music and dance. 

Upcoming performances include: July 16 at 2pm (Parabola Arts Centre, Cheltenham Music Festival); August 5 at midday (Kendal Town Hall, Lake District Summer Music) and October 1 at 3pm (Wiltshire Music Centre). For further information, visit: palisanderrecorders.com
