We are pleased to present the video premiere of a new animation to accompany Cecilia Bartoli's new recording of Vivaldi's aria ‘Se lento ancora il fulmine’ (from his opera Argippo). This aria is included on Bartoli's new Vivaldi album for Decca, where she is accompanied by Ensemble Matheus and Jean-Christophe Spinosi.

The new album appears nearly 20 years after Bartoli's 'The Vivaldi Album', an album described at the time by Gramophone's writer Hilary Finch as being graced with Bartoli's 'infectious glee'. That album sold more than 700,000 copies.

The new album features arias from Vivaldi's Orlando furioso, Il Giustino, La Silvia, Ottone in Villa and more, and was recorded at the Max Littmann Hall in Bad Kissingen, Germany.
