Author:
The choir seem totally undaunted by the difficulties which these twentieth-century composers throw at them. The boys sing with unfailingly fine tone, though with a tendency to open vowels in words such as “soul” and “Lord”. The men too are fine, just occasionally coarsening the sound a little. Imaginative registration of the organ parts, clear recording and an informative booklet are further assets.'
